Technical Information

All our fasteners are hot forged from aerospace high grade quality titanium alloys, feature rolled threads to reduce chances of galling and for greater fatigue strength. The ultimate tensile strength of our fasteners is at least around 150,000-160,000 PSI.  Our line of 1/2 inch fasteners are all 175,000 PSI and have not been heat treated, and therefore very ductile. Grade 8 steel fasteners are equivalent to 150,000 PSI, while grade 5 starts at 120,000 PSI (most common in motorcycles).
